It was recorded that Israel once fought
with Geliya . Geliya troop was very intrepid and occupied
many cities of Israeli by storm. They had moved to
Israeli capital and provoked with abuses out of the
city wall for over 40 days. Nobody else dared to stand
out except David. People do not believe in him as
he was only a young. "when I herd the shepherd,
I fought with bear and killed a lion " David
siad seriously: "Please let me fight with them."
The King had to concent him since nobody else dare
to fight with the enemy. David won Geliya over at
last and was popularly supported as King.
David's sprit of wittiness, braveness, love for people
and country was shown to people in the way of sculpture
by Michelangelo.
